Gallery 62 in Joshua Tree will open their final exhibit today. Managing Editor Tami Roleff has your invitation…
“Clay Artists of the Desert” will be the last exhibit at Gallery 62 in downtown Joshua Tree. The first 3-dimensional show for the Morongo Basin Cultural Arts Council opens Friday, January 8, and will close when the gallery permanently closes its doors on January 24. Featured artists include Penelope Benson-Wright, Thomas Alban, Linda Ferrari, John Greenfield, Ed Keesling, Tony Milici, and Karan Murphy. The gallery is open Fridays, Saturday, and Sunday, 11 to 5. Gallery 62 will hold an opening reception from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, January 9, during the Joshua Tree Second Saturday Art Crawl. Gallery 62 is closing at the end of the month due to a rent increase, but the arts commission hopes to find a new location for its cooperative art gallery.
