LARGE STORAGE CONTAINER ROBBED, THEN STOLEN

The owner of a Conex storage container that had been burglarized and completely emptied earlier this year, returned to his property Wednesday and discovered the storage container itself had been stolen. According to a Sheriff’s report, on November 9, the owner of the container in the 60300 block of Moonlight Mesa Street reported that burglars had broken into the container in either January or February and stole thousands of dollars in construction equipment and office supplies. When the owner returned to the property about 1 p.m. Wednesday, he discovered that the beige storage container, 8 feet by 40 feet, had been stolen.
