A Landers woman was arrested Monday, accused of spouse abuse. According to a Sheriff’s report, Victoria Mungaro, 53, was arguing with her husband about 11:30 a.m. Monday morning. He said Mungaro got in her vehicle and drove it through a closed gate at their home in the 600 block of Ripon Avenue in Landers. She then left but came back and yelled at him some more. The responding deputy noticed that the husband had a laceration on his face, which he said was from Mungaro hitting him the day before because he wouldn’t stop to buy her a beer before driving her to see a therapist. Victoria Mungaro was arrested for investigation of felony spouse abuse, booked into the West Valley Detention Center, with her bail set at $50,000.
