A Landers woman was arrested Friday night, accused of beating up her boyfriend. According to a Sheriff’s report, Mary Ray, 28, was arguing with her boyfriend in the 56400 block of Cone Boulevard in Landers about 9:30 p.m. The report states that Ray punched and scratched her boyfriend several times, causing bruises and lacerations to his face and neck. After an investigation, Mary Ray was arrested on suspicion of felony spouse abuse, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail, with her bail set at $50,000.
