A Landers man has been arrested for attempted murder over the weekend. On Sunday, (December 5), just before 8 a.m., Sheriff deputies responded to a disturbance call in the 50000 block of Happy Trail in Landers. The male victim called 911 and stated his neighbor, identified as Mario Garcia, 55, had assaulted him. A press release indicates that deputies arrived at the location and determined after a heated argument, Garcia brandished a handgun and fired once at the victim.
