A Landers man was arrested early Sunday morning after he tried to gain access to the Combat Center in Twentynine Palms. About 4 a.m., Jonathan Deyden, 41, went to the main gate of the Combat Center and tried to enter the base, saying he wanted to speak to President Trump. The gate guard determined that Deyden was high on drugs and contacted Sheriff’s deputies. During a search of Deyden, deputies located drug paraphernalia on the front passenger seat of Deyden’s vehicle. Jonathan Deyden was arrested on suspicion of being in possession of paraphernalia, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, cited, and released.
