LANDERS MAN ARRESTED AFTER BRANDISHING, FIRING A GUN DURING A FIGHT

A Landers man was arrested Monday night for suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon after getting in a fight with his brother. Sheriff deputies responded to the 600 block of Tahoe Avenue around 6:30 p.m. after a report that Sean Driscoll, 42, had pointed a loaded handgun at his brother during a dispute, fired at least one round in the air and fled the scene. Driscoll was later apprehended by deputies on SR-247 near Pipes Canyon Road. Sean Driscoll was arrested for investigation of assault with a deadly weapon, booked in to the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $50,000.
