A Landers man was arrested Friday, after he allegedly threatened a tow truck driver. According to a Sheriff’s report, deputies were called to the area of Old Woman Springs Road and Mira Street in Landers about 10:30 Friday morning. The tow truck driver said that he was attempting to tow a vehicle when Vincent Kubiak, 55, chased and attacked him with a metal pole and said he was going to kill him. Vincent Kubiak was arrested for investigation of making criminal threats and assault with a weapon, booked into the West Valley Detention Center, with his bail set at $50,000.
