LANDERS MAN ACCUSED OF FAILURE TO YIELD

A Landers man was arrested late Tuesday night (March 9), accused of felony failure to yield. About 10 p.m. Tuesday, deputies attempted to make a traffic stop on a vehicle near Highway 62 and Yucca Mesa Road after observing James Turner, 39, driving without headlights on. When deputies attempted to pull Turner over, he failed to yield. When he eventually did pull over, James Turner was arrested for suspicion of felony failure to yield, and booked into the West Valley Detention Center with his bail set at $100,000.
