Deputies have arrested a Landers man who is accused of burning down his own house Saturday. Firefighters were called to a house fire March 7 near Juniper and Emerald in Landers that completely destroyed the home. During their investigation, deputies learned that Davis Bouthavong, 31, had threatened to burn his house down. Davis Bouthavong was contacted by deputies about 5 p.m. Tuesday, and arrested on suspicion of arson, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $250,000.
