We have few details about a Landers man who was arrested Sunday, accused of attempted murder. Sheriff’s deputies were called to a home in the 5600 block of Maloof Lane in Landers about 5 p.m. Sunday, where, after an investigation, they arrested Robert Cariker, 77, on suspicion of attempted murder. Robert Cariker was booked at the Morongo Basin Jail with his bail set at $1 million.
