Last month, when organizers at the Landers First Saturday Flea Market announced that the growing community event would be on a heat-related hiatus for July and August, protests from vendors and shoppers alike came in faster than the mercury could go up. The message was clear: “Figure something out.” And that they did. Saturday, July 6, kicks off the first Landers ‘Flea by Night’ and Tailgate Party from 7 to 10 p.m. at Homestead Valley Park on Belfield Boulevard in Landers. It’s a mash up with live music from Tyler and The Crew, plus open mic, barbeques going, Martha’s Fry Bread, and yes, folks selling cool stuff. Bring the kids or bring a date for something different down at Homestead Valley Park tonight.
