There’s always something going on in Landers. And this Friday night the biggest thing going is the Landers Elementary Auction Extravaganza. So put off whatever you have planned for Friday night and head over to the school for dinner and an auction. The public is invited to Landers Elementary School this Friday for a $10 Baked Potato Dinner with drink and dessert, plus live auction and $1 chance drawings. Some of the items up for auction or raffle include tickets to Joshua Tree Music Festival, Knotts Berry and Theatre 29; plus there are Snow Valley Lift Tickets, dinners, passes to the Integratron, Yucca Bowl and much more. All proceeds benefit student field trips, including Sixth Grade Science Camp, family activity nights, and school assemblies.
Landers Elementary School is on Reche Road about a half mile east of State Route 247 in Landers.
