Landers residents will want to mark the calendar for the free Greater Landers Clean Up! set for Saturday, February 6th, from 8 a.m. to noon. Look around your road, are there tires, maybe a discarded recliner, a fender left behind from a long ago joyride, an old computer monitor or other electronics? Gather them up and head over to Homestead Valley Park on Belfield Blvd. in Landers on Saturday the sixth. Please, no hazardous materials, batteries, or oversize tires or tires on rims. Greater Landers Clean Up is financed through county code enforcement, organized by the Landers Association, and staffed by volunteers.
