A Lancaster man was arrested Thursday morning, accused of driving while high. A deputy on patrol made a traffic stop of a Honda sedan about 8 a.m. Thanksgiving morning on Highway 62 near Sherwood Road in Joshua Tree. Driving the car was Jeremiah Warmoth, 36, who had 2 misdemeanor warrants for his arrest. Deputies determined that Warmoth was under the influence of drugs. During a search of the car, deputies found suspected methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and metal knuckles. Jeremiah Warmoth was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of metal knuckles. He was booked at the Morongo Basin Jail with his bail set at $90,000.
