Ladycats Volleyball Sweeps in Cathedral City

The Twentynine Palms High School Ladycats Volleyball team traveled to Cathedral City to take on the Lions. Both the Ladycats Junior Varsity and Varsity teams swept. Junior Varsity won 25-21 and 25-15. Carolyn Morning had 8 ace serves and 1 kill. Liyah Pride had 3 ace serves and 1 kill.

The Varsity team won 25-9, 25-6, and 25-14. Sophomore Lindie Stewart led the team with 7 kills, 1 block and 5 ace serves. Kyla Palpallatoc had 6 kills and 3 ace serves. Gabby Wunderlee was also big at the net with 6 kills. Jenica Silvas had 9 ace serves and 23 assists. Itzel Solorio, Oli Ryan and Anisia Rios played solid defense.

The Cats are now 2-1 in league and travel to Banning on Wednesday.
