LADYCATS VOLLEYBALL HEADING TO PLAYOFFS

The Twentynine Palms High School Ladycats traveled to Trojans’ territory yesterday (October 13) and came away with the win.  The JV team won in two; 25-14 and 25-11.  They had 11 kills and 11 ace serves for the night.  The JV team finished 7-3 for the season. 

The Varsity won in 4; 25-19, 19-25, 25-13, and 25-19.  Senior N’Taiya Youso had 5 kills for the night.  Sophomore Kyla Palpallatoc had 3 ace serves, 1 assist, 5 kills, 12 touches and one solo block.  Senior Mya Chacon covered the back court with 14 digs and was big at the net with 5 kills.  Senior Alana Gutierrez played solid back row with 12 digs and 3 ace serves.  The Ladycats finished league 10-4 and will find out Saturday when their first playoff game is.
