Last night the Twentynine Palms girls’ varsity basketball team won its league game over Banning, 55-31. The Lady Cats are now 16 and 5 overall and 7 and 1 in league.
Coach Tim Stanford said filling the stat sheet on the night were Kate Bobadilla with 18 points, and four steals; Taylor Scamman with eight points and 12 rebounds; Carveona Garner with eight points and nine rebounds; and Gabby Mackall with five points and 10 rebounds. Stanford said overall, the team pulled down 54 rebounds and played great defense.
