LADYCAT VOLLEYBALL TEAMS COME UP SHORT AGAINST INDIO

The Twentynine Palms High School volleyball teams traveled to Indio and came up short.

Coach Melissa McGivern said the Varsity Ladycats fought hard but lost in three sets; 21-25, 23-25, 14-25. 

Mya Chacon, Gianna Bilderain, and Sadi Rantzow all had one kill. Amanda Mohn had one assist and one kill. Journey Platzke had seven assists and one kill. Jhordan Stanley had three kills and Riley King had four kills. 

The Ladycats are now 7-4 in league and still in the hunt for playoffs. 

The Ladycats travel to Desert Mirage on Thursday to battle the Rams.
The junior varsity Ladycats lost in two sets: 21-25, 19-25. 

Leah Engesser had one kill. Gabby Wunderlee had one kill and one assist. Bella Salcido had one kill and two ace serves. Zemira Mosqueda had one ace serve and six assists. Itzel Solorio served up one ace serve and had three kills. N’Taiya Youso had one assist, one ace serve and three kills for the night. The junior varsity ’Cats are now 9-2.
