LADYCAT VOLLEYBALL SWEEPS CATHEDRAL CITY

The Twentynine Palms High School Ladycats volleyball teams traveled to Cat City and swept the Lions.

The varsity ’Cats won in three sets; 25-12, 25-10, 25-16. 

Gianna Bilderain had one kill. Sadi Rantzow had one ace serve and two kills. Jhordan Stanley had three kills. Riley King had one ace serve, three kills, and two solo blocks. Mya Chacon had three ace serves, two assists and five kills. Journey Platzke had five assists, two ace serves, three kills, and one solo block. Amanda Mohn had three ace serves, two kills, nine assists, and one solo block. 

The Ladycats are now 3-3 in league and host the Trojans on Tuesday.
The junior varsity Ladycats won in two sets; 25-20, 25-19. 

Dixie Saunders and Gabby Wunderlee had one ace serve each.  Zemira Mosqueda had 10 assists and two ace serves. Bella Salcido had two kills. N’Taiya Youso and Itzel Solorio each had two ace serves and two kills. Leah Engesser led the team with four kills. Emma Barnhart held it down in the back row. The junior varsity ’Cats are now 5-1 in league.

The Twentynine Palms High School girls’ varsity tennis team traveled to Cathedral City to face the Lions on Thursday. The Ladycats take the W 10 to 8. The Ladycats are now 9 and 1.
