LADYCAT SOFTBALL HEADS TO PLAYOFFS WITH WINS AGAINST YUCCA VALLEY

The Twentynine Palms High School Ladycats softball team beat Yucca Valley on Monday 6-0. Thursday (May 27) they traveled to Trojan territory and came up with a huge win 23-3, securing them in second place in league and heading to playoffs next week. 

Tori Emhoff had 12 strike outs on Monday and 9 Thursday. She also had one double, six runs batted in, and a grand slam over the fence.

Ashley Emhoff caught solid for both games and threw out two on the base path. 

Gianna Bilderain had four singles.

Jaelyn Hannah had three base hits, including another perfect bunt.

Gabby Wunderlee had two doubles and one RBI.

Leah Engesser had two huge doubles, one single and four RBIs.

Hailee Jenkins had one single, three RBIs and a homerun over the fence.

Mya Chacon had three base hits, six RBIs and a grand slam over the fence.  The team combined for a total of 20 hits.
