Thursday night, February 5, the Twentynine Palms High School girls’ varsity basketball team defeated Rancho Mirage High School 65 to 17. Lindsey Scamman had 19 points, Hanna Beard had 10 points, and Nokomis Cabrera had 13 points.
Wildcats of the week for girls’ basketball are Adriann Miller and Jaedeen Laranang. Coach Tim Standford said Adriann is an outstanding student athlete who is extremely involved in all aspects of student life here at Twentynine Palms High School. Jaedeen is a tough defender and an outstanding teammate.
