The Yucca Valley High School Lady Trojan basketball team will host Garfield High School of Los Angeles in Trojan Gym tomorrow (March 1) for a 1st Round CIF Division 4 State Playoff game. The Lady Trojans qualified for the CIF State playoff tournament by virtue of reaching the CIF Southern Section Division 3AA semifinals despite losing to Cerritos last Wednesday.
The Bulldogs lost to Taft High School in the CIF City Section semifinals last Tuesday and come into Tuesday’s game with a 20-6 overall record and champions of the Eastern League. Game time is set for 6 p.m. and the link to buy tickets will be posted on the school’s Facebook page today (February 28).
