The Yucca Valley Lady Trojan basketball team got its second Desert Valley League win in as many games with a 94-23 win over Desert Hot Springs Friday evening in Trojan Gym.
Coach Jess Geeson said Senior Coy Smith was the leading scorer with a game high 23 points. She was followed by senior Makayla Geeson with 19 points including 5 three point baskets. Freshman Malia Ulery knocked down 3 three point field goals on her way to 15 points while sophomore Chloe McNellie finished the game scoring 10 points, while passing out 6 assists and collecting 9 steals. Sophomore Maliah Rodriguez added 10 points and 4 assists.
The Lady Trojans have a home game Friday when they host Coachella Valley High School at 6pm.
