The Yucca Valley High School Lady Trojan basketball team suffered a 63-48 loss to Beaumont High School Wednesday (December 1) night in a second-round tournament game at the Redlands East Valley High School Tournament.
Junior Malia Ulery had a game-high 19 points. She was followed by senior Heather Hiday with 11 points and sophomore Cadence Tarrant added 8 points. Senior Maliah Rodriguez hit two 3-point baskets for 6 points while junior Ashley Lowe chipped in 4 points.
The team next takes on Riverside Poly High School tonight (December 2) at 7 p.m. in the tournament’s third round.
