La Matadora Gallery in downtown Joshua Tree will hold its first ever virtual opening tonight in a Facebook livestream for its new show, “Quarantations.” Viewers will receive a guided tour of the gallery featuring the artwork of 19 artists, all of which has been created during the quarantine. The Facebook livestream will be from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. tonight; A link to the livestream opening, as well as an online exhibit, are available on the gallery’s website, LaMatadoraGallery.org. The gallery is open Saturdays and Sundays 1 to 5 p.m. and by appointment. The show will be on display through July 5 and 10 percent of proceeds will go to organizations that support racial equality. La Matadora Gallery is located next to the Beauty Bubble on the highway in Joshua Tree.
