La Contenta Middle School has scheduled its back-to-school night on Wednesday, September 4, from 6 to 8 p.m. The evening is designed to give parents a chance to visit their child’s classrooms and meet their teachers. Parents should bring their child’s schedule. Meet in the multi-purpose room at 6 p.m. for a brief overview of procedures and policies. At 6:15 parents will go to their child’s first period class and follow their daily class schedule for an eight-minute presentation in each class. A meeting for parents of Gifted and Talented Education students will also be held on Wednesday, September 4, at 5:30 p.m. in the library prior to the start of Back-to-School Night. Students are welcome to attend with their parents.
