La Contenta Middle School in Yucca Valley will hold its back-to-school night for parents Wednesday, September 5. Parents will have the opportunity to visit their children’s classrooms and meet their teachers from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Parents should bring their child’s schedule. An overview will be given of the curriculum, procedures, and policies. A meeting for parents of Gifted and Talented Education students will also be held Wednesday, September 5, at 5:30 p.m. in the library. Students are welcome to attend both orientations with their parents.
