The gala opening night of the epic Broadway musical “Ragtime” at Theatre 29 this Friday will be sponsored by the Twentynine Palms Kiwanis Club. Tickets for the gala event are still available from club members or at the Desert Trail office in Twentynine Palms and are priced at $25 each. Doors will open at 6 p.m. with refreshments served until curtain time at 7 p.m. There will also be a silent auction and desserts will be served at intermission. Proceeds from this gala event will benefit scholarships, youth sports teams and other causes supported by the Twentynine Palms Kiwanis Club.
