The City of Twentynine Palms Recreation Department and Charlie Blaauw “Dutchie,” a former soccer pro from the Netherlands is offering a four-day soccer camp for girls and boys ages 6 to17, July 9 through 12, from 8 to 11 a.m. in Luckie Park. Participants will learn passing and receiving, turning away from pressure, dribbling, shooting, goal-keeping and tactical techniques. The registration fee is $75 per child which includes a camp T-shirt, ice cream party and four days of instruction.
