The High Desert Storm Junior Micro team will be competing in the semifinals tomorrow. The Junior Micros beat the Yucca Valley Lobos 33-12 last weekend to advance to the semi-finals. The 7- and 8-year-olds are undefeated in regular season play, and are 9-and-0 going into the playoffs. The High Desert Storm will play the Palm Springs/Cathedral City Lions at 10 a.m. Sunday at the Beaumont Sports Complex, 1692 Beaumont Avenue. Admission is free, and the public is encouraged to attend and support the High Desert Storm.
