The Town of Yucca Valley Recreation Department brings a Junior Lifeguarding course to the 2022 summer Aquatics Program. Participants from ages 12 to 14 who have completed the Water Competency Sequence are welcome to attend. Students will learn the skills and physical conditioning needed for entry to the American Red Cross Lifeguard Course. Sessions last four weeks and will focus on communication, teamwork, decision making, and the responsibilities of a professional lifeguard.
