“Escape,” the Journey tribute band, takes the outdoor stage at tonight’s free 8 p.m. concert at Tortoise Rock Casino in Twentynine Palms. Now in its fifth season, Live at the Rock presents a new tribute band every Friday night through October. Concertgoers of all ages will be up and dancing tonight when Escape hits the stage. Escape’s lead singer is known for his Steve Perry-esque performances, nailing chart-topping songs like “Open Arms,” “Who’s Cryin’ Now” and “Faithfully.” In the coming weeks, catch the Live at the Rock tributes to Ratt and Perl Jam.
