Joshua Trees’ own, Jesika von Rabbit, known for her singing with local band, Gram Rabbit, is celebrating her solo album release with two upcoming concerts. Here’s reporter Rebecca Havely with all the details…
Jesika von Rabbit performs a live stage show with an entourage of dancers in two upcoming album release parties. One in Los Angeles, the other in Palm Springs. The solo album is called, Jesika von Rabbit-Journey Mitchell. The L.A. Weekly says the album has, “a characteristically sizzling, celestial, psych-disco sound.” The L.A. party is Saturday, March 21 at 11 p.m. at Bar Sinister 1652 N. Cherokee Avenue, Los Angeles, 90028. Go to the Bar Sinister Facebook page invitation for a $5 coupon off the $10 cover charge. $15 after midnight. The Palm Springs party is Saturday March 28 and it has no cover charge. It’s at Bar Palm Springs 340 N. Palm Canyon Drive in Palm Springs, 92262. It’s also at 11 p.m. To quote L.A. Weekly, “after you flip, trip and slip down this rabbit hole, you’ll never want to come back.”
