A Joshua Tree woman with more than $500,000 in misdemeanor warrants was arrested Thursday afternoon, accused of drug possession. According to a Sheriff’s report, a deputy stopped Toni Cagle, 31, as she was walking near the intersection of Sunset and El Cajon in Joshua Tree. The deputy determined that Cagle had five $100,000 warrants for various drug charges, and one $15,000 warrant on another drug charge. The deputy also located methamphetamine in Cagle’s possession. Toni Cagle was arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine, and for her warrants, was booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with the bail for her new drug charge set at $15,000.
