JOSHUA TREE WOMAN ARRESTED AFTER THREATENING MAN WITH HAMMER

A Joshua Tree Woman was arrested Sunday (February 20), accused of threatening a victim with a hammer. According to Sherriff’s logs, deputies responded to the 62000 block of Mountain View Circle in Joshua Tree around 5:30 p.m. for a report of a domestic disturbance. Arriving deputies report that Honey Wood, 52, had gotten into an argument with a male victim, who left the location before deputies arrived. An investigation led deputies to report that Wood had gotten into an argument with the victim and then threatened the victim with a hammer. Honey Wood was subsequently arrested for investigation of assault with a deadly weapon and booked into the West Valley Detention Center with her bail set at $50,000.
