A Joshua Tree woman who became irate over the sale of a vehicle was arrested Wednesday after she vandalized the vehicle. Deputies were called to the 66600 block of Daisy Lane in Joshua Tree about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday for a report of an altercation. The victim said he had purchased a vehicle from the father of Jennifer Barrow, 36. As he started to leave the property, he said Barrow picked up a metal bar and smashed the windshield. When the victim got out of the vehicle, he said Barrow hit him on the arm with the bar, and then threw the bar at him, hitting him in the leg. Jennifer Barrow was arrested on suspicion of assault with a weapon and was booked into the Morongo Basin Jail with her bail set at $50,000.
