The Joshua Tree VFW Post is leading a holiday donation drive for the Morongo Basin’s only no-kill animal shelter, the Morongo Basin Humane Society in Joshua Tree. Today, and every Wednesday until Christmas, the Taco Belles will be collecting new and gently used towels, rugs, blankets, pet toys, food, and food bowls. Bring your donations to VFW Post 7264 on Veterans Way in Joshua Tree. And don’t forget today (11/28/18) is Taco Wednesday at the VFW from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
