The Joshua Tree Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7264 will celebrate the 244th birthday of the U.S. Navy October 13. Sunday breakfast will include huevos rancheros plus the regular breakfast menu, from 8 to 11 am. Then starting at 2 p.m., there will be birthday cake, food, and drink specials. Football will be on the TV. The VFW is located on Veteran’s Way, north of Highway 62 in downtown Joshua Tree.
