Stolen property recovered in 29 Palms, suspect still at large

Sheriff’s Deputies are seeking the suspects in a Joshua Tree burglary after recovering stolen property in Twentynine Palms.

The victim reported to Deputies on Saturday (July 8), that several storage containers on a property he owns in Joshua Tree were broken into and several items were stolen by unknown suspects. Deputies report that they quickly developed leads and identified a possible location for the stolen goods.

On Monday at 11:30 a.m. Deputies say they served a search warrant at a location near the 6000 block of Roberts Ave. in Twentynine Palms where they located the stolen property, along with a large amount of U.S. currency. Suspects in the burglary are still being sought.
