Two parents were arrested in Joshua Tree Tuesday morning, accused of child endangerment. Deputies went to a home in the 6200 block of Valley View Street in Joshua Tree Tuesday morning to check on a child who had missed school. Deputies found that the house was filthy and uninhabitable. Child and Family Services were contacted and removed the child from the home. Sirena Donche, 24, and John Olson, 22, were arrested on suspicion of three counts of child endangerment. Donche and Olson were booked into the West Valley Detention Center with their bail set at $100,000 each. Sirena Donche and John Olson made their first appearance in court Thursday and were served with criminal protective orders against contacting their children. They pleaded not guilty with their next court date set for September 11.
