Joshua Tree National Park will be starting a seismic retrofit project at the park’s Oasis Visitor Center in Twentynine Palms. While the project is under construction, the Oasis visitor information desk and bookstore have moved to a temporary building just south of the visitor center. Visitor services will be unaffected, and signs will provide directions to the temporary location. Construction is slated to begin Monday, January 5 and should be completed by late May.
