Five artists and a writer have been selected as artists-in-residence at Joshua Tree National Park for 2015-2016. Selected for the eighth year of hosting artists from around the country are Sarah Tourjee, a poet from Rhode Island; Rebecca Reeve, a photographer from New York; Miguel Navarro, a sculptor from Pasadena; Marina Mangubi, a multi-media artist from Berkeley; Luke Matjas, a muralist from Camarillo; and Kim Zitzow, an installation artist from Virginia. Each artist-in-residence will live in the park for a three-week period to work on their projects. The residencies will take place during the months of September to November 2015, and February to May 2016. The artists will produce a presentation for the public during the residency or afterward.
