The 22nd National Public Lands Day is Saturday, September 26, and its a fee-free day for visitors. Volunteers are needed from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Work alongside Park staff on vegetation projects within the park. This family-friendly project encourages stewardship of our valued, irreplaceable national parks. Volunteers should bring water, sunscreen and appropriate shoes, no flip flops please. All volunteers will receive a one-day park pass for their time and energy. Show up Saturday morning at 8 a.m. to register at the Oasis Visitor Center at 74485 National Park Drive in Twentynine Palms.
