JOSHUA TREE NATIONAL PARK ROADS FLOODED DURING RAINSTORM EARLIER THIS WEEK

The rain storm that hit east of Twentynine Palms Wednesday caused flash flooding in Joshua Tree National Park. Sections of Pinto Basin Road were flooded, with mud, rocks, and debris covering the road. Park road crews and heavy equipment operators were on site after the rain and the majority of rocks and muds cleared by 5 p.m. Wednesday.
