Visitors to Joshua Tree National Park, and any U.S. national park, will now be required to wear a mask. The National Parks Services announced Monday (August 16) that new mask rules will be enforces at all national parks throughout the U.S., Including our Joshua Tree National Park. Visitors, employees, and contractors are now required to wear a mask at all indoor facilities and in crowded outdoor areas regardless of vaccination status. The rule was effected as a precaution against the spread of COVID-19, protecting the millions of national and international visitors who flock to national parks.
