Labor Day weekend is nearly here, Joshua Tree National Park will re-open the campgrounds it closed in June. As of today, all campgrounds will be open on a first-come, first-serve basis through Thursday, September 27. Beginning September 28 through May 26, the campgrounds in Cottonwood, Indian Cove, Black Rock, and Jumbo Rocks will require reservations. Reservations for individual campsites can be made from six months to one day in advance; group campsites can be made up to one year in advance. Reservations can be made as of today for campers planning for the September 28 weekend.
