Joshua Tree National Park received a $920,000 state grant to restore and protect lands damaged by illegal vehicle use. The grant is a portion of a larger $33.5 million dollar grant from the California State Park’s Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Division.

Joshua Tree National Park management said that they were “honored” to receive the grant, which will go towards tending to damaged land inside the park along with education and outreach efforts.
