Joshua Tree National Park is now offering digital passes to the park at no additional cost to visitors to help reduce wait times at park entrances. Reporter Andrew Dieleman fills us in…
Visitors to Joshua Tree National Park now have the option of purchasing digital passes from their computer or mobile device while on their way to the park. Digital passes must be either printed or saved to your mobile device once purchased, as Wi-Fi and cell service in the park is extremely limited. Digital passes are valid for seven days from the purchase date and are available for vehicles, motorcycles, and individuals. Digital annual passes are also available. All passes can be purchased at recreation.gov. Traditional in-person passes can still be purchased at park entrance stations and visitor centers.
