As the busy season ramps up, make sure to plan ahead for your trip to Joshua Tree National Park. Hilary Sloane has tips about entering the park during this busy time…
While many things in Joshua Tree National Park are the same as ever – like the sunsets, the Joshua trees, and the friendly park rangers – expect a few differences from a normal year.
The park’s visitor centers are open, but with limited capacity. You may need to wait to come inside, or you may find rangers and Joshua Tree National Park Association staff outside to answer your questions.
Trails are open too, though some loops are signed for one-way travel.
And of course, don’t forget your mask – you’ll want to wear it while indoors, or while outdoors in close proximity to people outside your household group.
